It took two fairly incompetent people only an hour to put this together. All tools are provided and the parts are clearly labelled. Once complete it’s sturdy and offers great exercise opportunities.

From the title you can guess what I was most impressed with and although it sounds mundane I just liked the attention to detail. It was mostly the shadow board approach to the nuts and bolts of which there are quiet a few varieties. Each bunch of nuts and bolts were separated on a shrink wrapped sheet with the size next to them. The instructions themselves were clear and logical.Anyway, the actual frame. It certainly is sturdy enough although I’m pretty light but it seems plenty strong enough. The build quality was pretty good and I was impressed with the welds and parts matched up almost correctly in most cases. There were a few holes that weren’t exactly right but once it was all tightened up it was fine. The location of the bar makes pull ups odd if you’re facing the back rest pad so you need to do them facing away in order to not bump off of anything. Personally I’d prefer a larger overhang so I could face the back but maybe that’s just me. Dips are fine as are leg raises as you would on any tower. The grips for leg raises are good but I don’t know why they didn’t put any for the dip grips. There is a knurled pattern for the pull up bar but I’d prefer proper grip so I just used grip tape which is fine now.The pads are nice enough and it’s been outside for a few weeks now and I will cover them if it rains. As it weirldy hasn’t rained in weeks now it’s mid-April I can’t comment on how well it stands the weather but as there’s no exposed metal without a good thick layer of paint my guess is it’ll fare well. I would have it in the garage but I’ve run out of room with kids bikes etc there now. I got this just before the COVID 19 lock down pretty much on a whim and now that we’re stuck training in our gardens and fitness equipment is in high demand I’m really glad I have it. It helps me to have easy access to just jump on and do some pull ups so I’m getting them done little and often and keep ticking over.

    must have item

Easy to put together and very confidence inspiring and sturdy when you use it.It wobbles a little when you use it but it would have to be a lot wider and heavier to completely prevent that.Overall excellent quality and value for money. The only negative is that now I have no excuse for being out of shape 🙂

  5. Bobi

Good value and delivery great product. Easy to assemble.

  6. MG

Husband loves it! Easy to build. Is very large once up.

  7. Mandrake

As I’m 14 stone I had to purchase a frame I was confident on and this is certainly it. Strong construction with good bolts and extra vertical arm support rods. Comfortable padding for back and arms. Took two and a half hours to construct but this was because I was making sure all the bolts were tight. Easy instructions. I already have the JX gym seat so I was confident of the manufacturer.

The pull up bar where you’re supposed to handle it is very wide. The bar itself is very thing otherwise the unit is great

I’ve had or used a few of these types of equipment over the years. This one feels like the sturdiest I’ve used. The extra pillars connecting to the dip bars make the structure stiffer and reduce instability. They are also probably useful if you plan to progress to weighted dips or if you are of a heavier build.

First off, speed and quality of delivery was excellent. The box arrived in superb condition and all the contents were securely packaged and wrapped. For the money, the quality of the goods are exceptional! Not only are all the parts (clearly labelled) and even the tools included, the instructions were arguably one of the easiest I’ve ever had to follow (and I’ve seen quite a few over the years!)Assembly was easy enough, I managed to do it by myself in around 90 mins. I would recommend having an extra pair of hands though. Can get quite fiddly when your juggling the frame, several parts and a couple of tools!I’ve had a quick blast on it and it seems very well built. It was a little shaky as I’m right at the top end of the weight allowance at the moment. Hoping this will aid my weight loss and muscle gain.It does say in the blurb that the max weight capacity is 200kg, however the sticker on the frame says 120kg (bang on my current weight!) so please bare this in mind.
